  1. About fifteen or twenty years ago it is said that Jack Cahill of Killamery caught a leipreachan. He was got on a big stone up on a hill. Nobody believed him until the night after he brought it down in a box inside his coat. It was about nine inches in height and he was dressed in a little red coat. His occupation was cobbling or shoemaking.
    The man kept for a couple of nights until at last he had to let him
