  1. Long ago there was Mass celebrated in one of our field in Frankford.
    There is a pit near by which helps to mark the spot exactly where Mass was said.
    In the Penal days when the Catholic faith was forbidden to be practiced by the English law, priests were not allowed to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in public. They had to seek lonely places so that they would not be seen by the English soldiers. The country people had to shelter them and often at the risk of their own lives
