  1. One of the most daring and fearless Highway men of long ago was a man named "Franey the robber". His cave is about two miles from here and is situated in a very lonely district. Franey although a robber was a cery charitable man because what he would take from the rich he would give it to the poor. He was very clever. When the police would be on his track he would turn the shoes backwards on the horse so as to turn them off his trail.
