  1. There are lights which travel from Kilcurl churchyard to Sheepstown churchyard. The people in the locality call them the candles. They travel about six feet from the ground. In one field in Ballygerdra there is a stone slab about the dimensions and shape of a coffin, and when the lights pass over this spot they remain stationary and music is heard.
    Then they travel on to Sheepstown. These lights are always seen before a person in the district dies.
