    not having a double rein:
    Giles Anderson, Number one
    Peelers view and then begone
For peelers names I now disdain
For I have a stamp & double rein
Edward Anderson a relative of Giles made poems also. He composed songs about many of the local happenings His best attempt was one praising Larry Connors who was at one time known to be the best long distance runner & walker in Ireland. Larry was a native of Lukeswell & a neighbour of Anderson.
    Note.
Nellie Hennebry also has in her collection a poem which appeared in "The Munster Express". This poem is one on the local Gaelic heroes & begins
    "Ye gallant Gaels of Ballyhale
    Attend to what I say"
