    In St. Moling's monastery there is a hidden treasure in one of the old walls.

    Following story told by Michael Grace, Raheenduff, The Rower.

    In St Moling's monastery there is a hidden treasure in one of the old walls. Many years ago a grave was opened for an old man from the parish. The men who were opening the grave saw a stone box. There was a ring made of iron for holding holy water about three feet below the clay. A wise old man was looking on and said that if they should open a grave on the other side they would get the treasure but the men being afraid said they would do what they were asked and
