    There along a silent pathway,
Break the flood of silver moonlight,
    Streaming through the leafy roof
See a lady and her lover,
    Gliding down the grass-grown walk
    Whispering low in ardent converse,
    Suited two fond lovers walk.

    When his happiness is shipwrecked
Trusting to so frail a bark.
