    Wash to potatoes, peel them, cut them in halves, scrape the middle out of them into a very clean bowl of cold water. Put this into a saucepan, put on the fire. Allow to boil and keep stirring until it is thick.

  2. Game: - A Donkey without a Tail
    Draw a donkey. Cut off the tail. Pin the donkey without the tail to the wall. Blindfold a child. Give her the tail. She'll have to endeavour to put the tail on the right part of the donkey while blindfolded. Very seldom a child succeeds. The child who succeeds wins the game.
