  1. Long ago there was a priest in Glenmore. One day going along the road and he saw a man cutting wood. He told the man to the man to stop cutting because every second tree was his. The man took no notice. The third time he raised the axe he could not take it down. He had to ask the priests pardon. The priest by a miracle took it down.
