  1. When the Cromwellian Troops were invading Ireland there lived in Co Waterford a wealthy Irish Baron named Lord Kilmeadon. When he heard that Cromwell was in Munster, he buried all his money in one of his fields for safety. Before he had time to tell his people where the money was hidden, he was murdered by Cromwell's soldiers
