  1. In recent years the weather has been foretold correctly by experts. Long ago there was no experts for foretelling the weather, but it was foretold by the aid of signs observed in the sky, on the mountains and by movements of birds and animals.
    In this district the weather is foretold by signs observed in the sky, on the mountains and by the movements of the birds and animals. The following are some of the signs observed in this district. When a circle is seen around the moon it is sign of coming rain. When the stars are shining too brightly on a Winter's night it is a sign of coming frost. When the sun goes down in a coppery sky in the evening it is a sign of coming rain. The wind that blows from the south brings most rain. When the wind that blows from the south east it is a sign of coming snow or storm.
    A fog on the Comeragh mountains is a sign of coming rain. When the seagulls come inland it is sign of a
