- In the townland of Ardera in the parish of Mooncoin, Co KilKenny, the ruling family was the Porters. They once had a castle in this townland. This castle stood in a field of John Walsh of Ardera. The stones are still to be seen.
- Very little is known. Three are supposed to have died in the townland of Polerone. The name of one was Thomas Walsh, known locally as Tomy ó Hoiéen.
