  1. About a mile and a half from our house there is an old rath.
It is built in the townsland of Knockanure. It is surrounded by two stone fences, with a distance of three or four yards between them. There are many old stories told about the old rath.
Some people say it was built there by the Tutha de Danaans. Others say it is the home of the faries and that lights are seen there in the night.
This old rath is near the public road.
