    In the year ninety five in the sweet month of May.
    Captain Coughlan into our parish did stray
    To erect a creamery in this lonely district.
    Ned Moran said "Ballinlough was most fit"

    I travelled all nations through France and through Spain.
    Through Lough Neagh and Lough Swilly.
    And home back again.
    And none could compete with the Ballinlough steam.

    The creamery is built and the work it is slack.
    Connolly and Faulkoner had a great tack.
    The brag they had played would make many a man smile.
    The knave and the contract they both were so loyal.
