  1. Another Pair
    Michael K. was a lazy man and so fond of work that he could sit down beside it. He attended all fairs in Elphin and the market on Wednesday in each week. He got his nephew Pat B- to accompany him whenever possible and both set off on their private ass and cart.
    This Wednesday in July Michael walked up the road and met Pat, whom he asked to go to the market. Pat replies that he should weed some turnips he had in the field beside them as they were a show so near the road. He asked Michael to examine them.
    Michael walked along at the end of them and said he would not weed them, if they were his,
