  1. The Bacach's Remark
    A traveller or bacai was going along the road near Rathcroghan when he became very thirsty. He went into Breheny's house for a drink.
    Mrs Breheny gave him a drink of buttermilk which was very sour and when the bacai tasted it he returned all with thanks.
    Soon after going our he met a man to whom he said that the people in that house must be very rich as they had last year's buttermilk yet.
