    A story comes to hand from Clonmacnoise which may be worth including.

    He came in again and made a strange request to the owner of the house.
    He said "If you don't open a hole in the wall of the barn near that window and one in the wall on the opposite side you will lose all your stock."
    And he repeated "You must sell your horse at once, at the next fair."
    The holes were opened in the wall and never anything happened since. Even though the walls were open, Winter and Summer, no animal in the shed took bad and no losses occurred in the stock.
    The stable was built on a "fairy path."
