    A Song
While I am now in my glory.
I will tell you a story.
Of something that happened on last Sunday night.
    My neighbor John Coll.
    He held a great ball
To his friends and relations he sent the invite.
    To his sister Maria.
The two Penneks and miss Tighe.
And sweet Katie Early that lives at the well.
The Haoine Don bards that drives the post cars.
And old Magic Regan who keeps the hotel
The ladies arrived at a quarter to nine
They were brought to parlor to biscuits and wine.
When they came to the kitchen.
    They saw a quare sight.
To see old Magie Regan dressed up in all white.
    The music was started.
    And the dancing began.
