    Local Happening
    About 60 years ago there was a local drowning. A man named Mac Dermott he was shooting by the brink of a lake called Pull zorin. he shot a bird and took off his boots to wade in for the bird. he must have gone in too far, for he was drowned.
    It was said after, that it was the fairies brought them. When he was some time drowned, there were some people crossing a plank near the lake, they saw man coming towards them on the plank from the opposite side. and they stopped back to let him pass, it was the drowned man, Mac Dermott, and he by without ever heeding them, and the people's next door neighbours.
