    A Local Happening
    There was a fort on their land, and an aunt of mothers was spinning at her wheel in the corner, there was nobody in the house, but herself the rest of the household were out at their work. She saw a little woman coming to the door and peeping in, my gran' aunt wondered why she was peeping in, and she went to the door, and when the rest of the family came in, they could get neither trace nor light of her. Her spinning wheel was there but mother's aunt was missing. They searched all the drains, and every place where they thought she could be, but did not find her. After three days, one of the family was driving the cows home by the fort to be milked, and, looking into the fort.
