  1. When awakening in the morning
O Lord I arise from this bed of sleep to adore my God and to labour for the salvation of my own soul. O Lord Jesus clothe my soul with the robes of charity, that I may wear them pure and undefiled before the judgement seat of Jesus Christ.
    When going to bed
Under thy protection O Holy Mother of God, we seek refuge, preserve me this night form sin and danger. Grant me thy Holy blessing.
    When you lie down
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ crucified, I lay myself down to rest, Bless me O Lord defend and govern me and by this short and miserable pilgrimage bring me to everlasting happiness. Amen
