    Pisterogues
    1. Who ever is out last out of a church yard it is said he will die first.
    2. If a coal falls out of the fire on to the hearth-stone, some person will come in to the house, but you will have to spit on the coal when it falls.
    3. If you see the new moon, through glass you will have bad luck for the rest of the year.
    4. If swans fly over your house, someone will die within the year, in the house.
    5. If you cut a lone bush you will meet with an accident or some misfortune.
    6. When going on a journey, if a hare crosses your path it is unlucky.
    7. If you give away milk on May-day some misfortune will happen to your cows before the year is out.
    8. If you come in on the front-door you can't go out on the back-door or you will bring the luck of the house with you. You must leave by the front-door again, (this applies to visitors or strangers who comes to your house)
