    In my district it is generally believed that if a person suffering with rheumatism eats the stalks of dandelion he or she will be cured.
    A cure for the whooping-cough is the ferret's leavings.
    People say that if you meet a man driving a white horse, and if you ask him for a cure for the whooping-cough, whatever he tells you can cure it.
    It is believed that the seventh son of a family has a cure for ringworm.

    Asse's milk is a cure for the chin-cough.
    If a person with a (person) sty, rubs the fasting spittle of the morning on it with a wedding ring it will cure it.
