  1. 2. There was a house burned almost in this district about three months ago. There was an old man and he was going to bed and he was drunk and had a candle and he burned some curtains and chairs and he did not know it till late in the night.
    Then he got up and got a ladder and another man that was in the house went up on the house and dug the scraws out which were on fire.
