    6. The name of my district is Cournameltha and my parish is Boyle. There are seventeen families in my townland. The number of people in it is sixty six. The family name most common in my townland is Keville. The general type of house is thatched, with a few newly slated houses. The meaning of Cournameltha is "Cumhar na Míoltóg" (Hill of the midges).
    There are four old people in my townland but they can tell no stories in English or Irish.
    The townland is very hilly with heather growing on it, but even so there is some good land also. There
