    There are four graveyards in our barony but the most important of them is Kilronan, within whose walls lie interred the remains of O'Carolan the last of the Irish bards.

  2. The family of landlords which was in the district was the Ffolit family. They came over from England, and evicted the people from the good lands, and drove them into the mountains. This is now they got the land which they were in possession of for about two hundred years.
    Lieutenant Ffolliott was landlord first for about eighty years,
