    celebrated at this rock. At twelve o'clock at night, a chalice was seen over the rock. The Mass rock can be seen a short distance in from the road.

  2. In the district of Tully there is a Mass Rock called "Skean". It is situated in a very mountainous place which is uninhabited. Each year the people of the parish visit this rock on a special Sunday which is called "Skean Sunday". This stone is very large, and is placed on another smaller stone. Long ago Mass was said there, and it is also said that this Mass rock used to stir whenever a priest was murdered during Penal times.
