Once upon a time there lived two boys and one of them was very fond of rambling with his cousin. One night when they were out rambling the boy that stayed at home said he would frighten the other two boys.
They used to stay away very late and he went to meet them. He saw a light coming across a hill and he thought it was them so he said to himself that he would hide behind a rick of turf until they would come up to him. When the light came up to him it passed right over his head like fire.
That is what people call The will of the wisp.
