    Once upon a time there wa a man who was in terrible debt.

    Once upon a time there was a man who was in terrible debt. One day he saw the bailiff coming to evict him so he locked the door. When the bailiff came as far as the house he said open the door, so this is what happened. The man in the house pretended to be a small child and said "me to sma me no able put in one inge and ise atch." When the bailiff did as he was told the so called child chopped off his finger and said "put in e other inge now."
