    Christmas in my district long ago
    Of all the old festivals of the year that of Christmas awakens the strongest and most heart felt associations. The services of the Church about this season are extremely inspiring. Long long ago the people dwelt more on the beautiful story of the origin of our faith, than we do now.
    In the years of our forefathers Christmas was not looked upon as it is now, namely to be a time of merrymaking and entertainment but it was thought to be a time of Thanksgiving and Adoration to (f) God. Our ancestors' Christmas supper consisted of boxty and potato
