    Local cure for a burn
    In olden times the people of my locality did not use so much doctors' medicine as they do now because they cured themselves by the herbs that grows in the ground.
    It is said Mrs Evans, Tarmon, Co. Leitrim has the cure of the burn. She first gets the inner bark of the elderberry Tree and boils it in unsalted butter along with some herbs, for about one hour.
