    A local cure for a burn
    In ancient times the people of my district were a hard working, capable race of people they depended solely on themselves and on the preparation of herbs to cure their sick.
    When a person was remarked very badly with a burn, I have been informed. that a splendid ointment was made from the following herbs:- A few white leaves of cabbage, some ivy leaves, a bunch of daisies or as the old people called them "Nóiníns", and a
