    Black buttons were boiled and given to children to clean their blood. Thee are called black heads sometimes. They grow in bog fields.
    Broom was used for worms. This tree is nearly like a palm tree. Old people say the jews scourged our lord with broom and that it is unlucky to sow a broom tree.
    Ridog was also used for worms. This tree grows in the bog and it is nearly like a sally. A man named Bill Smullen used it to cure toothaches. His name was Doctor Smullen.
