    To cure warts...

    To cure warts get nine stones and point each stone at the wart in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and then put the stone in a little purse. Go to meet a funeral and get outside the ditch and when the coffin passes throw out the purse and say " all my warts go with you" and anyone who picks up the purse gets covered with warts. And its only then that the warts wither away.

    For a pain in the stomach a frog is swallowed alive. Anyone who licks a "Dath-a-Luathair" or a "Cialán-cois" has a cure for burns and after licking it he has to lick the affected part.

    A cure for warts is to stick a snail on a thorn and when it withers the warts go away. A cob web was put on a
