    He would tumble over on one side and the sticks would prop him up. Whoever he would prod with the stick would have put the sticks on him.
    Paper men and boats were also made from paper. Boys killed birds by tying a twice out of a door and letting it slap down on the bird. Pot-guns were made from elders. A ram-rod was used for shooting out the bullets which were made from the pith of elder, or from corks. Two bullets were used in those guns, one for pushing out the other.
