  1. We plant about an acre of potatoes every year. We sow them in drills with a plough. We get ready the ground first. Then we put the manure in the drills and drop the potatoes. We close them with a plough.
    Sometimes after that we weed them and land them. We plough them out and pick them. We store them in a pit. The names of some potatoes are, Champions, Presidents, King Edwards, Aran Banner, Shamrocks, Kerrpinks, Abundance, and British queens.
