    took to wife. O'Byrne Maurice was Prince of Kildare and father to Laurence. Lorchan was the youngest of four sons, and was born in Castledermot in the year 1132. He was baptized before the Shrine of St Brigid and received his name Lorchan.

    The Hill of Hodgestown is very historical. This hill is situated in the north-west of Prosperous. On the top of the hill lies the Quaker's Grave. He is buried in a grave called a Cromlech. This is a large flat stone
