Between Blackwood and Robertstown there is a well named St Farnims Well.

Between Blackwood and Robertstown there is a well named St Farnims Well. Once it was barred, and the water sprung up in the kitchen of the man which barred it. The well had to be opened again, and then the water vanished from the kitchen. The people were told that it was a blessed well. The woman of the house said that it was only fit for boiling potatoes. She went out and got pail of water. When she began to boil then the potatoes turned into stones.
