There is a great Castle near the Hill of Carbury. This was bombed from the Hill about (17) the year 1798.

    (continued from previous page)
Hill about the year 1798. The ruins are still to be seen. There is also a noted well called Trinity Well. Cures are obtained from it on Trinity Sunday. No other day can cures be obtained, except on this day. Many people visit this well on this special day, also there are great sports held on Trinity Sunday called "Trens[?] the Pattern of Carbury. On account of this it is very historical.
