  1. Old Ruins
    The ruins of a distillery is to be found on the bank of the river "Rye" and it is said that it was in this distillery that the present Guinness brewery started.
    The ruins of an old monastry are to be found at the "Spa" which is about a quarter of a mile north of the village. Beside this ruins is a bathing pool in which the monks bathed, there is also a well. In the water of this well there is a cure for sore eyes.
