  1. There is a well not far from where I live in Confey named Saint Colm's Well. Some years ago people used to go to it and bathe their eyes in it if they were sore. When they went they would hang a piece of material over it on the bush that grew over it. It was said that according as the material would get worn your eyes would get better.
    But now it is neglected and nobody goes to it. No people are called after him as it is so long ago.
    It is situated on the North side of Leixlip in a spot called the Sileachan.
