- A Pheasant builds a nest like a hen, on the ground. She lays about fifteen eggs. Her eggs are smaller than hens eggs and are light brown in colour.
- The nest is usually built on the ground on the side of a mossy bank where the nest is over hung by grass or ivy leaves. Robins that live in gardens build their nests in curious places such as an old can(continues on next page)
