    9. For cuts wash well with tepid water to cleanse then apply zambuk or a little zinc ointment to heal, bandage with linen ( Mrs Farrell, Celbridge).
    10. Blue for a wasp sting (Mrs Wing, Celbridge).
    11. A herb called sage grows wild when it is boiled the juice is a great cure for rheumatism. ( Mrs Hill, Celbridge).
