- (continued from previous page)The "White Gates" are between Clonard and Moyvalley and the old road mentioned is off the Dublin-Mullingar main road.
- There is a stone in Anneville (near Longwood) and there is always water in it. This water cures warts. if you get a pin and dip it in the water and then stick it in the wart, after a short time the wart will disappear
- A Fly in the Eye
There is a woman in Longwood and if you get a piece of dirt or a fly in your eye she will remove it. All you have to do is write to her. When she gets the letter the piece of dirt will fall on it
