  1. A Song (continued)

    My name is Patrick Sheehan

    (continued from previous page)
Were forced to go with broken heart,
    From the Glen of Aherlow.
    111.
For six long months in search of work,
I wandered far and far, near,
I went then to the poor- house.
    To see my brother dear,
The news I heard it broke my heart,
But still in all my woe,
I blessed the friends that made her grave,
    In the Glen of Aherlow.
    Brighid Ní Gríobhtha
    Cul Ruadh, Gleann Beithe.
