  1. There was once a man living some-where around Kilgobnet. One night he went out walking at about seven o' clock. When he went to the house he began playing cards with the man of the house.
It was eleven o' clock when he was coming home. He came through the bogs, and as he was coming he met a man and he asked him would he play cards and the man said he would. So the man opened out a table and the cards and they began playing them.
When the man looked down he saw the hoof and he ran away home.
