There is a fort at Breens of Gorsnascarry and one fine beautiful evening they drove the cows in there and left them there for the night.
In the morning the cows were nearly covered over with water, so they let them out and they never again put them in there.
Not a drop of rain fell that night but the fort was like a lake in the morning.
Mr Tim Joy told me this. He says his father remembered the incident.
