  1. Long ago there was an old hag living in Coamcaille. She had a child and her brother ran after her to kill her and she went on top of a big mountain and her brother was very near her and so she jumped off the mountain about 300 ft. upon a big rock and from that into a lake and she was never seen again. The footsteps of the woman and child are still to be seen on the rock.
