  1. When people get married in this district and when they have a wedding the boys of the village dress up and come to the wedding. They put on white trousers and white shirts and they put masks on their faces. Each of them brings a stick with him which is decorated with different kinds of coloured paper. They make hats of straw and put them on their heads. When they come they start dancing and singing and they make all the fun they can for the people of the house. But like many other old habits it was abused and hardly any strawboys come to the weddings now.
