    CUAS MÓR
    on the seashore at point known as "The Limit" vide (?) "Maccees" previous page.

    MACHNA SEÁN
    a hollow west of Coombawn with Finneán (coarse grass) growing on it: on farm of John Harrington, Coombawn, Tahilla.

    CORCÁN
    a deep hole in sea off Brackros, Tahilla, a quarter of a mile off from farm of James Shea Brackros

    CARRAIG FADA
    a rock near Corcán above

    CUASA' DÚIN
    a cave under cliffs on farm of Ml, Shea, Doon, Tahilla.

    LACKEEN
    is a point on the seashore near Blackwater Pier in the townland of Lackeen. The ROGHA is a great fishing ground in Kenmare Bay midway between Lackeen point and the other side of Kenmare Bay. Rogha also means a submerged rock in this locality.

    ASKIVE
    = Eas Caoimh situated near Sneem or Parknasilla. An outlaw named Keeffe went on the run "in Cromwell's time" and hid out here in a hut beside the stream "in the Cummer." He was captured and hanged at Askive Cross. Hence Eas Caoimh or Keeffe's waterfall.
